About Mt. Fuji
A typical tourist destination, Mt. Fuji can be enjoyed in many ways.
The easiest way to see Mt. Fuji is on the Tokaido Shinkansen(bullet train) from Tokyo to Nagoya, Kyoto, or Osaka, and it is also visible on the right side of the train in the direction.
However, if you are riding the Hikari or Nozomi trains, you can see it right beside you around Shin-Fuji after passing Mishima Station. However, it passes by so quickly that it is easy to miss.
When you can see it well, you will hear an announcement from the conductor of the Shinkansen, but you will pass by it without knowing it.
The Kodama is a bullet train that stops at every station, so on a clear day you can see it until it passes Mishima Station and Shin-Fuji Station.
This is one of the benefits of using the Kodama instead of Nozomi or Hikari.
These days, everyone who wants to enjoy Mt. Fuji makes sure to spend a good amount of time around Mt. Fuji area.
Mt. Fuji can be seen well in winter, but in summer it is often covered with clouds.
For more information, why don’t you refer to the observation results of Fuji City?

Kawaguchiko Niikurayama Sengen Shrine Park has been the talk of the town lately.
This year’s cherry blossom season has been extremely crowded, with lines of people lined up at camera shooting spots to take pictures.
In the worst case, there is a 2-3 hour wait.
Mt. Fuji and Convenience Store (Lawson)
Fuji on top of a convenience store (Lawson Kawaguchiko Ekimae Store) has become famous on SNS and attracts many tourists.
It also became a route for sightseeing buses, which spurred more and more visitors.
It has been pointed out that it is dangerous because of people crossing the road and people taking pictures overhanging the road.
Just recently, black net was constructed on the opposite side of the road where Mt. Fuji is clearly visible, making it impossible to see.
Preliminary news is that outlaws are drilling holes in the black net and taking pictures. We hope they will stop doing that.
However, the bus guide says he will take us to another convenience store, but I think it is only a matter of time before this chase will be over.
