Meguro River, Tokyo


Usual viewing time: late March – early April (tentative)
Location: Ohashi – Shimo-Meguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo
Access: JR Osaki Station, JR Meguro Station, JR Ebisu Station, Tokyu Nakameguro Station
The cherry blossom trees along the Meguro River are one of the best places in Tokyo for cherry blossom viewing.
You can enjoy the cherry blossoms slowly on foot.

Shinjuku Gyoen Park Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo

Usual viewing time: mid-February to late April
Location: 11 Naito-machi, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
Enjoy about 900 cherry trees in this 58-hectare oasis in Shinju-ku
Access: There are three entrances, Sendagaya Gate, Okido Gate and Shinjuku Gate and it takes about 5 minutes from any station.

  • The nearest stations to Sendagaya Gate are JR Sendagaya Station and National Stadium Station on the Toei Oedo Line
  • The nearest station to Okido Gate is Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Station on the Marunouchi Line.

Access: 5 minutes walk from Kudanshita Station and Hanzomon Station Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo (Chidorigafuchi Green Path), a 5-minute walk from Kudanshita Station and Hanzomon Station.

The moat of the Imperial Palace and cherry blossoms are beautiful.

Ueno Onshi Koen (Tokyo)

Yoyogi Park (Tokyo)


A true urban oasis, take a deep breath in the cherry blossom garden
