Prologue

Tokyo Midtown Yaesu opened its commercial facilities in full swing today, March 10, 2022, with the bus terminal area on the second basement floor opening on September 17, 2022.

In addition to the bus terminal on the basement floor and the surrounding commercial facilities, the commercial zone features stores focusing on “Japanese brands” under the concept of “Japan Presentation Field” to showcase Japan’s future manufacturing and brand value to the world from here.

Tokyo Midtown Yaesu

Tokyo Midtown Yaesu is a project underway as part of the Yaesu 2-chome North Urban Area Redevelopment Project.

The project consists of the Central Tower, with 45 floors above ground and a maximum height of 240 meters, and Central Square, with 7 floors above ground and a maximum height of 41 meters. The site area is over 1.3 ha with a total floor area of approximately 289,750 m2.

Located at 2-2-1 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, the building is directly connected underground to Tokyo Station on the JR and Marunouchi Lines, a 3-minute walk from Kyobashi Station on the Ginza Line, and a 6-minute walk from Nihonbashi Station on the Tozai Line.

The Central Tower consists of a bus terminal on the second basement floor, a commercial zone from the first basement floor to the third floor above ground, Innovation Field Yaesu on the fourth and fifth floors, office floors from the seventh to 38th floors, and Bulgari Hotel Tokyo on the 40th to 45th floors. In addition, Chuo City Joto Elementary School will be located on the first to fourth floors of the Central Tower, and an accredited children’s school (Showa Kodomoen) will be located on the second and third floors of Central Square.

They are aiming to create a landmark that will create interaction and liveliness for visitors and domestic and international tourists and take advantage of its location directly in front of Tokyo Station, the gateway to Tokyo.

The surprise is that there is an elementary school in this group of buildings on the same site. Joto Elementary School was originally located here and is built inside the building as part of the redevelopment project in front of Tokyo Station.

It is a sight to see elementary school students with their school bags in the entrance of the high-rise building. We think the children who attend such a beautiful elementary school are very lucky.
